The ACT government has released the Draft ACT Planning Strategy, with supporting background documents, including Background Paper No 5: Food.

The background paper pays particular attention to 'urban agriculture', and discusses community gardens and city farms as part of that mix. It seems to be suggesting that there may be some flexibility in zoning to foster local and regional sustainable food production.
